The Default channel layout should look something like this:

Avatar's are 300x300 pixel pictures which users can give themselves. these avatars will be shown to all who click on you.
If you have a picture which is bigger than 300x300 pixels then please select your Picture editing software and resize it appropriatly.
To give yourself an avatar: right click yourself on ts3 > click set avatar > select avatar picture
Tokens are Generated code by the server which are used to grant the token user certain permissions, Admins / Moderators generete tokens for users when they want that user to register to a group.
By Default all clients on the server are in the " Guest " group with limited permissions.
For Downloading files we would like Only people in the " Normal " group to have access to these files.
Guests can browse the download files, but not download them. Normal users can download and browse files
For a user to join the "normal" Group he must use a token.
The Admin will give you the token code example:
Users must copy this code.
then go to: Permissions > Use Token > then Paste the code > click Ok
Once you have done this, you will now be the in the group the admin designated you too.
Encrypting your information
Teamspeak can encrypt your ts3 login information as an option. when selected this will require you to set a password to login into teamspeak and decrypt your login files.
reasons for doing this:
- if you are on a shared/public PC - no one but you can get onto teamspeak
- prevents theft of information
To do this go into:
Options>Security>Use master password
then enter/confirm your selected password.
