HOW TO START VENTRILO

Create a new user and give yourself a name
(preferably your forum name)


Give your account a phonetic ( name which will be spoken when you connect/disconnect etc)


Now you will be presented with the ventrilo screen,
click the button beside server ( -> ) to add the zeitgeist server


Add the following information into the appropriate fields

IP: Nyc2.ventriloservers.biz
Port: 3795


You do not need to fill in the other fields ( keep all options checked)


Ok, You are now ready to connect to the server, press the CONNECT buton


Now you will see the Ventrilo Server!

Look for the New Zealand Channel Under Chapters!

Now you are ready to Speak ( If you have a microphone)
or chat (if you dont have a Mic)
Now please click the


Great so now you will see this setup screen,
please assign yourself a Push to talk button,
and tweak your audio settings (Input and output etc)




You can now click the to enter the text based chat room




Now if you dont have a microphone you can type
