About Me

My name is Anaru Bickford. I am a thirty year old dad and happily married.

I like the Zeitgeist movement because it no only points out the fundamental destruction inherit in the present financial system but it offers the possibility of a solution. 

The pursuit of profit is destructive, counterproductive and unsustainable. It is a major barrier to solving many other problems that life has dealt us with.

I think New Zealand with it's isolation, low population and expertise could be a showcase for how a resource based economy could be made to work.

The economy is like The Titanic at the moment, No matter who's steering the ship it will crash and sink. The lifeboat might be cramped and cold but there's the possibility of survival. 


Looking forward to hearing from everyone and making a difference.

Well, I am sure you will find a lot of like-minded people here.

If you have just watched Zeitgeist Addendum, you may be asking: "How can I actually help?"
As you may know, by now, Spread Awareness is the key and there are so many ways to do it.

- REMEMBER: "IT IS WHAT YOU DO THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE"...and not what "you say you will do".
