Hey JB. I'm definitely not professional and the music is mainly for enjoyment but also to get the message out. As you probably know, my mate died in a car accident just over a month ago. What I loved about making music with him was the way he worked all the samples and quotes into the music. He had everything mapped out onto a midi-keyboard, including the vocal quote/samples so that he could play them as we went. It was a living creation as opposed to a studio mix which probably anyone could do. I can't replace my friend (nor would I want to) but would love to find someone with a similar talent and political (or anti-politcal) slant on life that wants to make music with a message. Failing that I will try and make the music myself and add samples after. Might be a bit sterile but would probably come together nicely.

More than anything though, like most internet artists, I want exposure. Partly (it's true) for some self gratification, but mostly cause I want to get the message out. As I mentioned, I have a anti-global warming rap ready to bust out but with the right research and motivation, could cover any topic you want.

It's kind of addictive making music. Once you start, you just want more, and better. Open to suggestions...Cheers

Hey Johneb, any help to get my music out would be much appreciated. Not trying to blow my own horn or anything, but I was pretty stoked with the lyrics. It was a long process to get there with many re-writes etc. but the finished product (aside from missing a final mastering) had exactly the message I wanted to get out. I see plenty of other stuff out there and it's awesome that they have a message too (I especially like the ZeiTunes1 site) but few if any have a Kiwi flavor (or the awesome lyrical ability LOL) as me. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers.

Solo dad...Big ups man! My wife is away looking after her father for a few weeks and I know a little of how it is and I admire anyone raising kids by themselves. Especially a bloke! It's hard enough when there's two of you. Still, if you're interested in Zeitgeist then you must have your head screwed on the right way. I'm sure you're an awesome dad. Arohanui and thanks for the comment for my music...Saru
